SMOKING CESSATION CLASSES
DIABETES SUPPORT GROUP
The Boyle County Health Department conducts weekly smoking cessation classes using the Cooper-Clayton Method to Stop Smoking Program.  Classes are on Thursdays and meet at two different times:  9:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m.  When possible, the cost of nicotine replacement is free.  Classes run for 13 weeks.

The health department offers assistance and support to
persons with diabetes through monthly meetings from
September through June. This group meets the 2nd Tuesday
during these months. 6-7 p.m.

CHILD CARE TRAINING
The health department coordinates training to community child care providers.  Persons working in day care for children can receive valuable learning from this program. Call the health department for more information.

WALK IT OFF
This is a program designed to promote weight loss through
walking exercise. Participants record their activity times and
also participate in group walks. program entrants receive
useful prizes.
