persons with diabetes through monthly meetings from September through June. This group meets the 2nd Tuesday during these months. 6-7 p.m. |

HEALTHY START CHILD CARE TRAINING

The health department provides training to community child
care providers. Persons working in day care for children can receive valuable learning from this program. Call the health department for more information. |

COMMUNITY BABY SHOWERS

New or expectant mothers celebrate the birth of a child with
a baby shower held at the health dept. Informational programs are provided along with celebration of the big event. |

WALK IT OFF
|

This is a program designed to promote weight loss through
walking exercise. Participants record their activity times and also participate in group walks. program entrants receive useful prizes. |
